Case Study: Kaiser Permentate - Sunset Campus used Provider IQ to help become a managed care leader in just 18 months.

Southern California Kaiser Patients looking for access to the competitive area of brain cancer clinical trials are getting some help from UCLA Neuro-Oncology and SiliconMED's Provider^IQ Translational Research Platform.

Southern California Kaiser Permanente successfully completed a year long trial program where Kaiser physicians were able to enroll patients into UCLA based clinical trials and utilize the Provider^IQ application framework.

The year long community outreach enabled 170 Kaiser Patients the opportunity to enroll in UCLA based clinical trials and gain access to research specialists in the fields of Neuro-Pathology, BioInformatics, Neuro-Imaging, Genetic Research and Molecular Diagnostic Testing.

In addition to clinical trial enrollment, Kaiser Physicians were able to manage their clinical data using the Provider^IQ application suite. The data management and image analysis software centrally stored consented patients data, allowing researchers at UCLA to view de-identified data and identify ideal trial candidates, while enabling physicians at Kaiser to leverage state of the art image diagnostic, data management and business intelligence tools.

After a year of success, Southern California Kaiser Permanente has choosen to make the Provider^IQ platform part of the stardard practice of care.
